After a long day of work, my friend Nycole and I went out to dinner at Adamus in the Silversmith Hotel. We decided to dine in the lounge so that we could sit by the window and watch the people of Chicago as they head home after work.
We began our meal with a couple of Manhattans. They were PERFECT.
Then came the food. We dove into the menu by Chef Nelson Erazo. It was so hard to decide what to eat because everything sounded so amazing! We started off the meal with some bread and a couple appetizers. We chose the Lobster Croquettes and the Burrata Salad. Holy YUM! Absolutely some of the best appetizers I’ve ever had. They were a great size for sharing and were prepared perfectly.
Next came the entrees. We decided to have the steak and the scallops. The steak was cooked to the perfect medium rare temperature and the yukon gold and gouda flan that accompanied it was INCREDIBLE. It was seriously one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. The scallops were also delicious. All of the ingredients combined had such an interesting flavor profile. I never would’ve thought to put them together, but it totally worked!
Overall, our meal was amazing. Can’t wait to go back! Adamus is a great spot to go after work, for a date, or after seeing a show in the loop. It’s located at The Silversmith Hotel & Suites, 10 S Wabash Ave.
